Verified Buyer Reviewed by avid grouse hunter from Minnesota on Monday, March 30, 2015Found neoprene to be an appropriate material for comfort on the shoulder or accross the chest. Simple design is a plus for this product. Considering that the ends of this strap are nylon and offer no grip, one might plan for the but end of this sling not to rest anywhere other than against the trigger guard. That said, it would be nice if the strap was able to be adjusted to a little shorter in overall length. Not as much of an issue for later in the season when you are (or should be) wearing a more fully packed bird bag/ pack w/ overnight provisions. Comes in real handy when you sprain an ankle and are having enough trouble just making it back to your car a few miles away without the added task of having to carry your gun. I'd like to see a more minimumalist version of this product that still used neoprene as the shoulder material but took up less room in the pack so you'd feel it was always well worth packing.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by reisner from Pismo Beach CA on Monday, December 17, 2012I like being able to case a gun without the sling on, and having the option to switch the sling from rifle to shotgun. Great cushioning--my firearms weigh only 6lbs each, but an unyielding leather strap would cut into my shoulder after an hour or two.
