Bought a sling by this maker from STP last year for a Tikka T3 .270 bolt action rifle. Happy with that, so thought I would try this model for a Benelli Supernova 12 ga Tactical shotgun. Swivel clips did not come with sling. I purchased those locally and installed the sling. Very happy with comfort and retention. Easy to manipulate shotgun from slung position to shooting position. Vero Vellini slings are 2 for 2 with me!

I am a 60's era Marine who loved his M14. My son is a young Marine who loved his M16. He convinced me to "modernize" and buy a Ruger SR556. Quality of the rifle is impeccable, but after I put a bipod on it the result was the most ungainly ugly weapon I have ever seen. No clean lines of an M14. Very efficient and deadly but hard to carry. So, after buying a Picattiny rail for the bottom of handrail and detachable sling swivel, I gambled that the German designer sling would work - it does. At least as good as any sling will work with this top heavy configuration.

Works great on my Benelli M4-only drawback is the nice leather ends of the webbing are hard to get through the clips because of their thickness. I had to cut off one of the leather ends to get the webbing through the opening in the stock and really wedge it into the opening at the end of the magazine tube. But it works great and you can tell the quality is there with this sling. One nice feature I didn't expect is that the webbing itself is lined with a rubber-provides for more shock absorption as well as makes the webbing itself grippy.
