Versailles Two-Tone Bamboo Roman Shade - 36x64"

I read reviews saying these were difficult to hang - I disagree! Went up fairly easily by midrange DIYer - and serve the purpose of providing privacy beautifully. Price couldn't be beat!

Great look for casual surroundings, at a really great price. But almost impossible to hang. Hardware difficult to use and instructions not helpful.

I love these shades! They were a perfect fit for the room I needed and really added something nice.

We haven't installed our blinds yet since they will be going on our porch. Once the weather warms up they will be hung.

I wouldn't say these are hard to hang, but the metal brackets are soft and bend easily, so if they bend out of shape while installing them, they are hard to get back in line to get the blinds to set properly. Once up, they look great on the over-sized window in my kitchen.

This shade is nice looking and appears to be fairly well made, but the hanging hardware is of poor quality and it was very difficult to hang. The screws they provided were cheap and the heads all became stripped after only hand tightening (they're stuck in there now--don't know how I'll get them out when I move but oh well). The hanging brackets are different than types I've seen before and it took me a while to figure out that they actually attach up on the very top of the bamboo surface, with the shade frame hanging on an angle, rather than to the metal of the shade frame itself (take note if you buy this because the instructions are vague). Also, the pull cords came unthreaded in the hanging process and I had to re-thread them, so be careful with them. Now that it's hung (finally!) it looks very nice and I'm glad I got it. One other thing to note is that it's a little more transparent than I expected, which is good for me (I like to let a little light shine through), but some people might want more privacy. You definitely couldn't see through it from outside during the day, but at night you might be able to see a silhouette. Looking back at the photos, the one for the 'brown' color seems to reflect the level of transparency accurately. Overall, I would recommend it to a friend, but I would make sure to tell them how to install it first!

I think the shades are a good value especially considering the price we paid using the "Deal Flyer" on line. The shades do not offer as much privacy as we had hoped. Moving the shades up and down is not too smooth either BUT overall the shades are doing the job for inexpensive window coverings. "On the river in Bandera"

This shades were very hard to cutomize and next to impossible to hang. This is coming from someone who is not timid to do remodeling...

Attractive, good quality blinds. But the metal used in the hangers bends too easily although one had to be bent to accommodate the back of the header. Once up we couldn't be more pleased.
