    I love vests, and so does my mother. I thought that this might work for her if it didn't work for me, but I had to ultimately return it. Too big, bulky, really thin material, doesn't hang well. Looks like a super thin big quilt draped poorly on body. I love Joan Vass, but this is an exception.

    I bought this for my mother as a nice layering piece. However, it is surprisingly thin, with an unnecessarily heavy zipper. There seems to be no need for a heavy zipper and also a snap placket on such a light vest. I didn't think it was nice enough or useful (warm) enough for even the sale price, so I sent it back.

    I wanted a vest to layer with, well, layers and this was just what I'd hoped for. It is not particularly warm but works as a layer over shirts, t-necks etc. when I want a little extra. The blue color is more gray than blue, that's fine with me.

    It feels like the designer couldn't decide what they wanted in this vest. The satin trim is nice and a little dressy, but the zipper and snaps are heavy enough to be on a winter parka. I wish it had pockets. Not the most flattering thing I have purchased. I bought it to wear on a trip if I needed something light weight to put on if it was cool. It was OK but not great.
