    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Sturdy and well-made, but: * "suit carrier" is not removable and not large enough for a large person's suit * zippers are of indifferent quality and don't zip easily * dimensions are 1 linear inch too large for many airlines * handle extensions are easy to misalign or damage On the other hand, the wheels are great, and at the sale price (under !00), it's a very good value.

    So much potential... I love the design but it's simply too large. It's slightly too large for US carry-on requirements and not even close for international requirements. Given how strict the airlines are these days, I just couldn't risk it.

    Victorinox makes really great luggage and this piece would be the perfect carry-on for business trips except for one small detail. It is about 1 inch too large to meet the carry-on luggage requirements and it has to be checked.

    Great quality except for the zipper around the suit enlosure of the bag. Great ziper on the main compartment though. I'm not sure why the bag is compromised with the suit zipper when they have obviously put much thought into the overall design. Suit compartment is good up to a 42 coat size. Larger than that would cause some wrinkling.
