Not as wide as the duffel that it's replacing but ample capacity for a several day trip, with a handy compartment for dirty or wet clothes.

This is really a good bargain for the money. I would not get one at the original price (over $200). This discount puts it into the right range where you are getting a dependable piece of luggage for a good deal. By the way, the "laundry chute" is a clever bonus. It allows one of the side pockets to expand into the main compartment on the inside, allowing you to keep your fresh clothes away from those that are... not so fresh.

This is a great brand...everything is very durable and well constructed. This bag would be great for an overnight trip or to store all those irregular shaped things that take up too much room in a regular suitcase on longer journeys. Good straps. Good weight.

I have had the opportunity to use this item now for several months, and it's main appeal to me is the stout construction. Most bags I've owned in the past of this ilk were usually pretty flimsy, but this thing is very overbuilt. You'll never have to worry about it ripping open, and the many pocket zippers are all super-sized. Abuse simply doesn't phase it; it reeks of quality. The only thing I didn't care for was the snap around leather that draws the two handle loops together into suitcase mode, though honestly I don't know how one could get around this hassle. But that may be nit-picking.

My son asked for this for Christmas and he loves it! It is perfect for his college track meets to hold his gear on the bus trips. All the compartments will work great, especially the one to keep his sometimes muddy shoes separate from his clothes. We love Victorinox and the STP price was great on this bag!
