Love it! Great price. Well made. Like the bronze color because it's not like all the others!
I have a computer bag by same company. Held up well. Sturdy.

This is the perfect size for short trips. It fits nicely in the overhead bins, even when it is expanded. We actually used this and a backpack for an 18 day trip to Portugal so we would not have to check luggage and so we could move about the country easier and everything we needed to take fit.

We bought this for a trip to Portugal and wanted the largest carry-on possible. This was it. It also expanded but then would probably have to be checked. We packed everything we would need for an 18 day trip in two carry-ons and two backpacks. We dragged this around the airport with ease and through many cobbled streets. The other carry-on came home with both wheels broken and a broken handle but this one barely has a scratch on it.

    Thinking of buying another!

Victorinox makes great suitcases and this one was no exception, even though I determined it was too small for my purposes, so I exchanged it for the next size up, which was the 26". For a weekend trip the 22" would be fine, but my husband and I never go anywhere for just a weekend. I have since received the 26" and it is perfect. I also own the Victorinox toiletries case in black and it, too, is perfect in every way.

This is about the largest carryon size bag you can get a way with on many US carriers. It is carefully designed so it does not look bulky, but at 22 x 14.5 x 9.5 (46") it is slightly oversize, but not much.

The bag is not complicated, it leans toward the basic, but has some notable extra features. It has a suiter, expands 1.5", has an easy access ticket pouch on the outside (also good to store small electronics), and a capacious zipper pocket for a laptop. It's also a good place to store extra clothes in a vacuum bag.

Everything about the quality of this bag looks quality. It rolls very smoothly, almost without effort. It takes some getting used to if you are used to 2 wheel "rollaboards" because this "spinner" goes with you, not really pulled by you.

The suiter is very handy to easily store a suit or some shirts and hang them directly on the closet rack. Or, it can be detached and used as a divider in the deep storage compartment of this bag.

It is surprising how much this bag will hold because it is so deep and smartly designed. With careful packing, it will hold a week's worth of clothing.

Be aware that the 2.0 model that is replacing it does *not* have the suiter. Also, the newer model has a 10 year manufacturer warranty compared to *lifetime* for this. The nylon material of this version appears to be more durable than the polyester of the replacing one.

You will not regret getting this, even if you have to check the bag on some carriers, it appears well designed and well built. Get the 1.0 version while you still can.

After looking for a long time for a piece of luggage with wheels, I was pleased to see that STP offered this Victorinox bag. I'm a happy user of a variety of Victorinox products, all of which seem well designed and sturdy. My Avolve bag served me well on my first "wheeled" trip--although it is small (it's a carry-on, after all), I was able to pack heavier items such as papers and books in it, and use the Avolve as a trolley for another, lighter, bag.

A small negative is that the Avolve does not expand significantly, so if you are likely to be picking up items on your trip, you'll probably need another (or more-expandable) bag to carry those. Another potential issue for international travelers is that it may be too large to qualify as a carry-on on foreign carriers.

On the whole, though, I like this bag.
