Victorinox Swiss Army Field Watch - Stainless Steel (For Men)

The watch is simple and stylish and it is water resistant for a person who occasionally forgets to take off his watch! Because of my narrow wrists, however, I had to buy a new watchband: the style would not permit just adding new holes because of the seam between the leather and cloth. Also, there is no luminescence on the numbers, just on the hands, meaning you are only approximating the time in the dark.

The watch was Swiss- made, Victorinox, and appeared to be well constructed. The problems for me were that the face was small, more the size for a woman, and the band was very long. Too many negatives and had to return it. The watch might work for others- not me.

My husband seized this watch before I could wrap it for Xmas and has worn it very day since. Can't tell yet about reliability, though Victorinox has a great reputation. He very much liked the white face, so he can read it in dim light.The cloth band, which I had feared might look cheap, actually looks no-nonsense and practical. I got this for [$] or so, a real bargain.

nice watch for the money... its nothing fancy like the last swiss army watch i had, but i paid over $200 for my last one and only [$] for this one. its plain and simple, but is comfortable and looks good. the band isnt anything fancy but is better than i expected from some of the other reviews i read.... i had planned on buying a new band even before i got the watch, but now that i have it i actually am happy with the band and dont plan to replace it. overall i think its a great deal and i am very pleased with my purchase.

Band too large for a small wrist. Price on watch was good, but had to spend another [$]with ANOTHER vendor to get a band that would fit my wrist. You can't just put extra holes in the band as there is a seam that gets in the way.

I love the appearance of this watch. I have several Swiss Army watches but this is my favorite...I bought a second one for back up.

I love this watch ...keeps perfect time, is rugged and looks great. However the band is a little too big for folks with small wrists. The watch is not too heavy , sits perfectly and has luminous hands to see in the dark. (Note: The numerals are not luminous).

Nice presentation but the watch was way too big for my wrist. I'm giving it away as a gift to my son. This watch is not designed in the classic Army Swiss manner.
