Victorinox Swiss Army Linen Blend Tailored Jacket (For Men)

Very different styling than the norm and lots of tailoring. Definitely not dressy, an outdoorsy look that goes with jeans or khakis. Great fabric, pretty comfortable in hot weather. The fit is a bit snug.

This is a cool jacket that will look good on you if you're young, fit (or old, but young-looking like me;-)) and can pull off an unusual look. If you are uncomfortable in bright colors, bold prints or trim fitting clothes. DON'T buy this jacket. You won't wear it. It has weird little buckles, snaps, buttons and straps that might make you feel like you're in a doctor/bondage video or auditioning for the off-broadway production of Edward Scissorhands. The white is WHITE.. Not off white, ivory, beige or cream. It's doctor white. You will catch looks. I like it. I wore it to a boxing match and out to dinner at a few trendy restaurants. This is not appropriate for anything that would require dress that's even remotely classy or business-like. If you are cool, you will look cool. If you're a dork, it will magnify that beautifully.

This is a European sized jacket. Mine was a 40 which is actually the same as an American size 38. I wear a 38, so I purchased a 40. Fits well. So, the size advice here to order next bigger size is good advice for a good fit on this jacket. I got the white one (very white)-lots of pockets, a zipper, vents, buttons and snaps, flaps and clasps-so quite interesting. Light weight, good for summer wear. It does have that wrinkled look (like the photo). Not a classic tailored sport coat, more casual.

I was circumspect ordering this piece because of the one negative review. I am reviewing this to dispel any worry. This is quality garment, well made, nice fabric, just the right linen content. Time will tell on how it wears. I am 190 lbs, military fit 5'11" and usually wear a 41. Ordered a 42 and it fits like a glove. Slightly snug in the shoulders, but that's the style. Darker/more olive than picture.

My first purchase by this manufacturer. Very disappointed from the one review posted. Not what I expected at all. Very poorly executed garment. Stitching is big and not very tight.Cloth has pattern in weaving I don't recall mentioned in product description that I did not like. I am a 42R so I ordered a 44R as well as blurb advised sizing runs small. Neither fit. 42R was tight around shoulders and 44R had sleeves about 1" too long. Returned garment. This was a fluke. STP is almost my exclusive clothing outlet. They are the best of the best 99% of the time.

Great casual jacket. Goes best with jeans or khakis. Slightly on the slim cut side (made for an athletic build). Great quality fabric (lite weight) and construction. Highly recommended!
