This is a well-made coat with great details – wrist buckles on the sleeves, easy hood cinch, lots of good pockets, buttoned seam in the back, etc. It's good as a warm weather raincoat and good with layers in cold weather. The description says the interior is unlined, but the inside of the fabric is finished nicely. Great coat and good price.

The jacket felt great from the moment I put it on. Fits in easily in the office or out on a hike. Good craftmanship, great product.

Just got. As usual, this is a very well made garment per Victorinox standards. Very fine execution, stitching, construction, quality of materials. If you don't like it, it's mostly a matter of taste--but if you do, you will be very happy with it. Sizing is spot on. Me: 6ft, 188lbs, no belly, 33-34in sleeve. Got LARGE. Perfect fit.

I've been looking for a knee-length hooded raincoat for a while to wear for my daily commute when rain is forecast (I work in Los Angeles). My commute involves standing on an elevated train platform and some walking, so I was looking for a raincoat that would keep me dry. I had a packable microfiber raincoat (no hood), but the material was very flimsy, and the pockets were useless. This Swiss Army Raincoat is almost perfect. It is kneelength (I'm 6'1", 210 lbs, and bought the XL), and made of a sturdy nylon faille. Having external chest pockets is great, it means you don't have to open up your coat (and get wet) to get to stuff. They hood doesn't have a brim, but since I wear a waxed cotton driving cap or baseball cap that isn't an issue for me. Even though I wear a waterproof hat, I like the hood for keeping rain/wind off the back of my neck. I wore the coat in the rain for the first time today, and after 5 minutes of very heavy rain my shoulders were a little wet (maybe leaking from the seams?). The jacket is only described as water resistant, but I was still a little disappointed that water got through that quickly. Also, although the raincoat is listed as packable it isn't very lightweight. Since lightweight isn't something I care about it isn't a detraction for me, but if you're looking for a very lightweight raincoat that packs small for travel, this probably isn't what you're looking for. Still, on balance it's a great commute coat. If you plan on standing for hours in pouring rain, only a rubber/PVC (non-breathable) raincoat will keep you dry. For everything else, this coat fits the bill.
