I can't tell you how they wear, but I can tell you that I love the color, a bright and happy marine blue/green. As manufacturers do, Christy is moving from vivid colors to embark on a new, pastel color palette for 2018, which is why these expensive, well-made towels were affordable. Personally, I like the vivid colors better.

However I have already received 2 "nags" from STP asking me to do so.
I bought these in what I think was the sandalwood color. Contrary to some of the other reviews I read on before buying them, mine did not fall apart on the first washing; they are very soft and absorbent; I have not noticed an excess of lint (in what I admit is very limited usage so far); and the color of the towels I purchased is an exact match of what I was expecting based on the pictures I saw on the STP website.
The only reason I'm not going 5 stars is that I don't feel I have enough usage experience to give 5 stars. -

It looks very well made, and the sandalwood color is so rich. This towel looks expensive! It also does a great job of drying you off, which is good since that is it's main job. The pile is so thick that it does take some extra time to dry after use.
While I was removing the tag, I snagged the pile and pulled it. It worried me that the towels would need delicate treatment. I was relieved to see after a wash and dry, they came out just like they went in. No new snags! They have not been shedding that I can tell, which is a big plus in a new towel. -

They are soft, thick, and absorbent, and should last. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the color - it's definitely different, but will work well for everyday use.

They have been so cushy, soft, fluffy, durable, and lush that I have looked for them at a price I could afford ever since. Now Sierra TP has them on sale, and an extra discount; I had to have them. I also found some on sale at another outlet. Now I have more of my color and ventured into another color.
