I just was not sure they were that big that I would have been safe with a smaller size and when I called in for advice, they said go with the usual size. Now, I don't want to return them and am hoping they will shrink a bit, and evenly, so that
they are not this swimmingly big size. I would warn a friend that they run really large and the material is stiffer than I would have expected. Maybe all this will clear up in the wash. This size discrepancy must be why the pants are offered at this very good price as they are Orvis, a very respected name, but still...- Best Uses: Casual Wear
