4.0 out of 5 stars. insulate wellReviewed by Somewhere from MD on Tuesday, February 18, 2014Okay, these are not the best looking semi-sheer curtains for sure, but they insulate really well for how lightweight they are. Our newly purchased 40 years old house has couple of big north facing sliding glass doors that needed coverage for privacy and insulation. Once I installed these curtains, the room felt 10 degrees warmer! Plus, the curtain still let a good amount of day lights in so we can keep them closed during a cold day. I have both blue and green color and they look just like the picture.
I took one star off because of the plastic backing looks really bad from outside (they look decent from inside though), and the feel of the curtain are not soft at all. Definitely not for formal living space use.
