It was fitted through the hips and baggy in the waist. It needed to be taken in about 4"-5" in the waist. Two sets of darts would of helped too. I didn't feel like paying for it to be altered, so I returned the dress. However, if you are 4 months pregnant it would probably work great as is.

Reviewed by pamb from seattle on Sunday, April 18, 2010The fit is for women with small hips. I am 5'3" 105 lbs and often find fit too large in the waist. I am generally a size 0 or 2. I ordered a 2 in this dress and it was very small in the hips. It was pretty. Wish it had fit.

She is a size sometimes 4/sometimes 6. While I wouldn't say this dress runs small, the 4 is too small. I returned it and crossed my fingers that a size 6 will be in stock. So, the moral of the story is, if you are between sizes, order up.
