I suppose that is to be expected since they are reversible but I wasn't expecting them to be that thick. The point of shorts is to be cool during those hot summer days. These are thicker than jeans. I couldn't imagine sporting them for a full summer day.

I must be lucky as my experience stands in stark contrast to the other reviewer: After several wears/washes all three variations of these obtained from STP have held up stitchwise and colorwise beautifully. I'm looking to collect'em all!

Reviewed by not your real name from Annapolis, MD on Friday, July 06, 2012Beware: All the Berle/Vintage shorts I've received from STP have buttons that fall off after a couple of wearings and crotch seems that rip apart by wearing/washing. Savings are eaten up at the seamstress. I have these shorts from actual bricks and morter shops and there's no comparison - whoever STP gets these from are selling them seconds and STP is not aware of or advertising them as such.
