“Reversible tire? You bet!”

“The description does not make clear what I discovered upon receiving my ORKSs--the "dual treads" are not side by side or something like that. This tire is reversible--one side slick, the other with a sort of herringbone pattern. Initial mounting is a little tough due to double tread thickness, and I wonder about how easy it's going to be to find and remove certain kinds of road debris (bits of wire, for example) when fixing flats on the road. Only ridden the slick side so far, which rolls and handles nicely, even in slightly wet conditions. I've only got a few hundred miles on them, so tread life is still an open question, but they seem to be holding up better than a lot of tires I've tried. I'm a big guy so rear tires tend to square off pretty quick, and so far so sign of that from the Vits. Probably helps that they run 140 psi.”
