Please bear in mind that these shoes are intended for the barefoot, minimalist runner looking for a little more foot protection in colder weather than the Vibram Fivefingers affords. It can also be worn casually by the barefooter as well. This shoe DOES NOT have arch support, midfoot support, ankl... Read More

I read reviews after I had ordered -- silly! Someone said to be warned these shoes are for people that know about barefoot running; yes they are, and that is not me! One try and I knew they would not be for me. I thought they look better in the photo than in person.

This is my second pair - I loved the first ones so much, I got this in another color. Wish there were more. I teach and am on my feet all day. These shoes are comfy and functional. You cannot beat STP's closeout price.

I use these for *some* running (just getting into the minimalist thing) and for kicking around. These are performance shoes, but on super-duper sale I figure it's not too extravagant of me... They are a bit more flat and duck-like than I had expected; I somehow thought they'd hug the arch a little more like cycling-inspired or rock climbing-inspired sneakers do. But that's a style remark, not a performance one. They are still eye-catching sneaks.

These shoes look even better in real life! The comfort level is outstanding. I felt I was in my bare feet all day long. No aches or pains on the first day worn. I did order a full size bigger (based on reviews of others). I could not be more pleased with my purchase. STP rocks!!

I was hoping these minimalist shoes would be my new street runners, but they fit too tightly on my toes at too much of an angle.
