“Viyella shirts are made with a unique blend of wool and cotton fabric that produces a soft but crisp-looking appearance. They are timeless classics in terms of style, so the somewhat high (retail) purchase price is offset by the fact that you can wear these shirts forever and they never look dated. One does have to be careful in terms of laundering and maintenance; too much heat will shrink the fabric. I have my Viyellas professionally cleaned and pressed; they are worth the expense and trouble.”
