Closeouts. The smooth finish of Viyella's Classic sport shirt aims to please with a bit of added warmth from 20 percent wool fibers woven into the cotton. The natural and breathable long-staple pima cotton is so comfortably soft, its almost silky.

    This is an outstanding all purpose shirt! It is truly a four season casual, dress or work shirt. The use of the wool yarn speeds drying when damp from rain or exertion in warm weather and insulates with a light layer underneath in cool weather. My experience is, no special laundering care required.... no shrinkage and very little fading. A truly outstanding fabric and shirt!

    These own-brand Viyella shirts are very well made and some of the patterns offered are classic and smart. I will still have the sleeve and body taken in by my shirtmaker, since these are sized for an overweight American market--not, however, as balloon-like as some brands. Generous sleeve length; I wear a 34.5 or 35 sleeve in a medium (15 1/4 neck)and these seem fine. Presumably the cloth needs no introduction. Soft, warm, and fairly durable for cool-weather wear with country cords, tweeds, and cavalry twills.
