Viyella

I really like Viyella Shirts. I'm glad they are now making 100% cotton shirts as well as their merino wool blend! (I have five of them)

old-fashioned, in a good way

This is a great shirt and a good price. In most catalogs these run from [$] up. For best appearance I'm taking my to the green cleaners to it will have a pressed look. But if you have time to iron, it's wash and iron for the best appearance.

Like a lot of XL shirts, this had too much material around the waste. It was probably my fault for not getting "custom fit" or "athletic".

This is a very handsome, comfortable, well made robe that looks great on my husband. Even though there is some wool in the Viyella it feels more like cotton against the skin. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on how it will hold up over time.

If you have a tan, this shirt will show it off! Very comfortable, crisp. Not light, but has enough body in the fabric to stand off your skin. Just got back from Dominican Republic. Wore it twice in a week!

Heckuva shirt! Crisp enough to be comfortable though it's not all that light. Colors will show off any tan you can muster. Travels very well.

I am a shirt freak, and over the years I found Viyella to be the best all around shirt. I own a number of them. I wear them year round - to the office as well as in the woods. Soft, warm (but not to warm) and very comfortable. They don't wrinkle like a regular cotton shirt out of the dryer, they kind of rumple like a flannel - so they require a little ironing for office wear - but not for casual wear. Another thing that is important to me - many of the patterns are classic registered tartans. And you can't go wrong with the prices here at Sierra - yes they are high end - but you get what you pay for.

It's a stylish robe that has warmth without bulkiness. I am vety pleased with it.
