Did not have the cigarette lighter adaptor, but in retrospect, I realize the amperage is too high not to directly wire to the battery. Didn't want to do that, so I send it back. Cost me $10 to find out it wasn't what I wanted. Wouldn't have kept it any, poor packaging was too suspicios for damage.
