Wagan Heated Travel Throw Blanket

My family loved this gift--everyone gets cold in the car; heats up seat

It does the job; keeping me warm in my vehicle when parked for several hours on winter mornings.

I have used this as a heated mattress pad in my van. It is great for taking the chill off before turning in, or, with a seperate deep-cycle battery, to keep toasty all night even in cold weather. Works very well, but usure if I can even wash this by hand (no way to disconnect the electrical cord). I believe it can be washed by hand while keeping the cord out of the water. In all it is a great value for the performance. Sierra Trading Post... you have done it again!!

Although I have only tested this blanket out in my truck, my plan is to use it after a cool day of hiking and/or camping. The blanket is a perfect size and seems to reach a nice toasty warm temperature. The cord is long enough to use the blanket safely in the back seat. One concern I have is keeping it clean. The directions state to not submerge the blanket, rather wipe clean with a cloth when needed. This may not work if you are using after a dirty night of camping and hiking. I thought of making a fleece throw for it, that can be removed and tossed in the washer. Can't beat the price, even gave one to my friends and a gift.

i have a bad back so sometimes i can't ride as i would like to but with this i am sooo comfortable
