Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Living in an area with frequent power outages, this inverter is a life saver. I didn't want to buy a generator, due to cost and noise concerns, and with this, I just picked up a deep discharge marine battery, and I can run my refrigerator for over 24 hours.... as well as my coffee grinder and coffee pot! (most important)
