Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by DonS from Texas on Monday, March 11, 2013I bought these hoping to improve my hearing of those mystery sounds in the woods.
On my first outing, I noticed that any local movement (brushing my pants, touching paper, etc.) was greatly amplified. However, the owl hooting in the woods 75 yards away sounded the same with our without the muffs.
To make matters worse, after an hour's use they developed a chirping, Morse code type of noise regardless of the volume setting rendering them not only useless but annoying.
If you want to hear wildlife, I believe the more expensive Walker's have a better reputation. I'm probably going to return these.
Reviewed by Rollingbolck from South Carolina on Sunday, March 10, 2013Awesome, I can not only hear better, but much clear and the detail in the sounds are great. I hear animals in the woods crisp and clear. You can actually hear deer and other animals walking in the woods.
Reviewed by Mnt Ma from Colorado on Friday, March 1, 2013Block shooting noise of all types of guns - but yet allow you to hear people around you. They also have volume control that is highly adjustable. Highly recommened for shooters! Very adjustable for Men and Women.
