The volume control doesn't work in either one, and the first time I tried one of them, the off/on button broke off. Even if they did work, they would be worthless, because they fall out of the ear. A waste of money.

Reviewed by Hillybilly from Arkansas on Monday, March 18, 2013Fit: Good, can use different sized tips. Performance: it does make voices, leaves crunching, etc louder. This is good. Then when you fire your gun it protects your ears from the loud sound. One con was the wind. When it blows hard it crackles in your ear, work around could be to wear stocking cap over ears.

Reviewed by Bob from Colorado on Saturday, March 16, 2013Cheap junk. I suppose they could be used only for noise enhancement, but the description states that they cut out muzzle blast. These could never be used while shooting. If you could somehow get them to stay in your ears they would not block out any harmful sounds.
