Water Skeeter Deluxe Wading Boots - Studded Felt Sole (For Men and Women)

The felt came apart on my first trip, but I needed them, so I drove screws through them to hold them together. That lasted about three more trips. It's a shame b/c they are comfortable, but a big waste of money.

These are great to get you to the stream but once there you are better off bare foot. As others have complained the rubber lugs defeat the felt and studs and though they will preserve the bottom of your drift boat they are horrible to wade in anything but sandy bottom stream beds. I will however say that they are adequate when fishing saltwater i.e. ledges and rocks. They require constant attention to placement of feat ensuring that the balls of your feet (where the felt and studs are) make contact with any possibly slippery surfaces. I have since modified mine by cutting about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch off of the rubber lugs and have found that this improves the boot immensely.

Bring a good wading staff-- you'll need it. You get no grip at all on the rocks.

I used this pair twice fishing Lake Ontario tributaries. The plastic sole holding the studs and felt fell apart on the second wearing. The boots are a useless waste of money.

I wore these three times and both the soles fell off. Very poor quality. Not a wise purchase.
