Closeouts. This Waterville lambswool jacket is created using one of the great breakthroughs of modern fabric technology. The renowned Italian mills of Loro Piana bring the rain, wind protection and breathability of their Storm System® membrane barrier to the elegance of their wool, cashmere and other fine fabrics. A special treatment creates an invisible barrier around each fiber of the lambswool, causing water to bead away from the fabric and protect from dust, dirt and liquid stains.

    Feels too long
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This product was much better in the desciption than in real life. I was disappointed in the thinness and lack of hand of the fabric, it seemed like the bonded fabrics you see in discount stores. Ths color was not the same as on-line and although it fit in the shoulders, the sleeves and body were about 4" too long. I returned it so don't know if it is warm or waterproof as stated.

The Loro Piana wool on this jacket is unbelievable - soft, light and extremely warm. I do, however, have concerns about the construction. I just got this jacket and already there are a number of (3-4) loose threads. The buttons are very cheap and don't look to be sewn on very well. I just get a bad feeling about this jacket and am going to send it back. At its current price it is certainly a bargain, the LP wool makes it worth that much, however [$]is too expensive for my budget to take any chances on poor quality.

Provides warmth and weather protection similar to same weight down jacket, but looks much better. Collar provides great protection for neck when turned up and buttoned closed.
