5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable beanie, good styleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Saturday, June 3, 2017Fits like a regular size beanie and covers the ears well enough, but not like one of those oversized ones. No inner lining, but it's comfortable and seems pretty warm.

4.0 out of 5 stars. NiceVerified Buyer Reviewed by A Naturalist from San Angelo, TX on Tuesday, October 11, 2016Nice, thick beanie. Fits firmly on the head but isn't too tight. Hasn't gotten too cold yet, but I imagine it'll work like a charm.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great hatVerified Buyer Reviewed by wzl from slc, ut on Wednesday, January 20, 2016Bought the black/tan. It goes with everything. This hat is cute on, soft, warm, non-itchy and can be worn with the headband up, down or partway up. A keeper.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Review for the navy/burgundy versionReviewed by Jbr from Chicago on Sunday, November 29, 2015This hat is wonderful: warm, soft, thick, stretchy, will fit a size 7 7/8 head comfortably. Nice color and cable pattern, attractive for any gender. One of my favorite hats, love it.
I left a 3 star review for the black/silver version. That one's nice also. It's just that this navy/burgundy one is larger, thicker, chunkier and thus warmer than the black/silver one I received, which may matter to some. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Not as good quality as the wine/navy colored version of the same hat, bought a week beforeReviewed by Jbr from Chicago on Wednesday, November 25, 2015First of all let me say I've bought many, MANY items at STP over the years, and this is only the second time I've received something that wasn't made correctly. That's a fantastic record for a company that deals in irregulars, so I'm not complaining.
It's smaller and not as chunky as the one in the other color. It had a huge noticeable defect in which the yarn in one full vertical row did not get knitted in, leaving three strands of yarn unknitted and hanging loose the length of the hat. There are multiple strand ends sticking out the top of the hat which will require tying into the knit; how it made it past inspection is a mystery. Because it still fits, the yarn is soft, and I can work this into the pattern to fix it, I'm keeping it. It would cost half the purchase price to return it.
I have a hard time finding hats that fit my large head and are chunky-looking and soft against my skin, which is why I'm willing to work on this one. It's soft, stretchy and nice looking. While it's not as thick as the other one, I can use it on less frigid days. It's a hat worth repairing, although if return shipping were free I'd have asked for a replacement.
