The price reduction, %70 off, was the clincher. The editor for this evalutation needs a lot of work to be usable.

I just found too many drawbacks to this jacket even though it was a great price. The weatherproof coating would be nice but it makes a crackly noise. There are no slanted handwarmer pockets - just the hard to snap/unsnap flap pockets. I expect the snap grommets will pull loose or why would they have included extras? It does have 2 inside pockets - one for an ipod and another that zips. The zip pocket is so small (3.5 inch opening) that I couldn't get my average size hand into it. The very large hood has no drawstring and flops open unless you tie a scarf around your neck to hold it closer to your head. The fit is generous enough that you could wear a sweater or hoodie underneath. The sleeves have only a decorative non-adjustable strap. There is a lightweight fleece lining in the hood and across the back; the rest is lined in a lightweight quilted satin. Not heavy enough for below freezing temps. With just a few changes (hood drawstring, larger inside pocket, and slant pockets) this could have been a good jacket.

This coat is really great. you can wear when it rains, when it is cold and windy.The quality is very good. and the color too.it is also warm. I love it. If you are looking for a coat for cold and windy weather, you should buy it.

Great winter jacket when you don't want to be formal or totally casual.

Usually I like the jackets I get and the prices from Sierratradingpost.com. This was a big miss however. For [$] I expected a lot more.This looked like it was worth half that.

Very warm coat and great on those cold New England days. Love the coat but the sleeves could be a bit looser so that bulky sweaters or blazers can be worn underneath.

I travel for my job and have been looking for an all purpose coat to take on business trips. This is perfect, lightweight, waterproof and stylish. I am 5'0" and usually look for petite sizes for the sleeve length but the M fits well with the elastic cuffs. It is roomy enough to layer a sweater underneath for colder climates.

Jacket is very good quality for the discountetd price but runs significantly smaller than advertised. Good jacket for everyday wear, to work.
