Weave of the Irish

The description states Fabric: 75% wool, 20% nylon, 5% other fibers However, the Lavender/Blue wrap I received has 44% wool 35% acrylic 12% nylon and 9% alpaca VERY DISAPPOINTING--as I know how poorly acrylic wears. Please be aware the information given is NOT CORRECT. I paid for a wool/nylon wrap (and I love how wool and nylon last)--and got an inferior product. Wish they looked at all the colors of wraps and listed their fabric content correctly. I am keeping it because I purchased it as a gift for someone--and cross my fingers I hope it holds up.

overall, I like this purchase...wish it was lined but I knew it wasn't so I can have no complaints.....

This is the second one I have purchased. I find them very warm. Just wish they came in more classic colours.

Exactly as pictured - a shawl. Waist length in back, very nice fabric, not heavy, very light. I use my pink /purple/blue shawl at work, it's much nicer than the 'office sweater' I keep for emergencies. And the price cannot be beat. Go ahead and get one for yourself.

check material some colours are not 75% wool

I purchased this as a gift for my aunt, and haven't given it to her yet so I don't know how she feels about it. But in my opinion... This is an unique (at a great price!) 100% Irish made wrap that I got for my aunt to use when she's chilly in her lakeside cabin, curled up with a good book. And it seems perfect for that. The fabric is a little stiff but appears warm. And I ordered the blue (very pretty color, but not as flecked as it appeared in the pic.). It's open on the sides, so it's not a complete vest... more like an over-sized scarf (that covers the back of the shoulders and half of the back). It could be used as and unusual accessory for a dress, t-neck or blouse. But primarily, I could see this being a great item to keep in an office or home setting... works with just about anything when you're feeling a bit chilled (like at the computer right now- LOL!). Hey, I may just order one for myself!

This was a christmas gift for my 94 yr old mother, it is perfect for those chilly mornings, and just before retiring for the night.

I use the product to get and stay warm on cold days in and out of the office and about town. It's particularly wonderful because it is so versatile.
