I purchased these shoes for hiking light trails in Kauai. I've been wearing them on my daily walks on pavement and they feel comfortable and relatively light. I'm hoping they will provide dual usage on our upcoming trip to Kauai - walking on pavement as well as trail hiking.

These shoes were super small, my toes were completely smashed up against the front and I could barely lace. They were very nice looking (as far as hiking shoes go) and looked like they would be durable and great for day hikes. Bummer that they didn't have the next size up. Had to return.
    • Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain
    • Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Stabilizes Foot
    • Sizing: Feels too small

I used these shoes for a 5 day canoe trip the first time and they were quite comfy. They were very slippery on wet rocks, sounds silly I know but I was looking for a shoe that would have traction in wet conditions. They took a long time to dry, however, I was submerged up to my knees in rapids, so the shoes were water-logged. The rubber toe on one foot is starting to lift slightly and is probably due to being in so much water. Overall good shoe-just not for extremely wet conditions.
    • Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
    • Cons: Heavy, Poor Traction, Slow to dry
    • Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Recreational Walker/Hiker
    • Pros: Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Good Cushioning, Stabilizes Foot

I returned these shoes because they fit very poorly, narrow in the toe box and very stiff. I also thought they looked really odd once I had them in hand.
    • Cons: Odd Looking, Poor Fit, Uncomfortable
