    I purchased this product for travel. I can see the time without readers, even in the dark. This watch can be worn out for a nice dinner or on the beach.It is water resistant and frankly at the price I paid at Sierra Trading Post, I wouldn't worry about swimming with it either. It is refurbished and did arrive with a couple of scratches that would be hard to see unless you were looking for them. I had no trouble fixing the date or the proper time. I was even able to size the band myself. The band is strong and I won't worry about it coming open. It's warrenty truly makes this super refurbished watch a super deal and a delight.
