    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    These shoes felt too small for me. To be fair I generally take a wide shoe and bought normal width not wide. I thought the mesh uppers would have some give in them but my foot felt way too cramped and uncomfortable. For the price they are great value and the quality seems good but I would suggest going half a size up when ordering, and think twice about it if you have a wide foot. They are a low cut shoe so probably best suited to easy day walks or general around town use.
