    My first avalanche had to be returned for defective functioning. I knew the watch was listed as 2nds, but expected it to stand up to the reputation of Wenger. [...] I am wearing the second "avalanche" and so far I am so very pleased with the ease of use, function and reliability. This second Wenger watch is meeting my approval for a quality durable watch.

    I wanted a nice looking, stylish watch that was durable enough for my mountain bike rides and runs but classy enough for every day wear. I had a few links removed since I have skinny wrists and it fits perfectly now. I'm not into fancy features; I just want to know the time. This watch is everything I expected it to be.
