    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    unfortunately, the number of tools for the specified use limits the effectiveness of this tool. I need a variety of other tools to make up the set. the tools provided aren't always that easy to use in the knife configuration. I would rather have a different swiss army knife (and I do) to take on a bike trip, with the additional tools that you need.

    Overall, I was disappointed with the features in this knife/bike tool. The all-in-one's in bike stores are much better than this. While I have always been a big fan of swiss army knife products, this one was a disappointment. Only one hex wrench is totally inpractical. The tools do not open easily and are ackward to close up when you are done using the item.
