If the dial was not well exposed to sunlight, the glow faded rapidly. Of greater importance, despite careful following of the instructions, the date feature would not change so could not be set accurately. As a afterthought, I attempted to simply turn the hour/minute hands to advance the date, all to no avail. This was my first experience with a Wenger/Swiss Army watch. I would not advise a friend to purchase.”
