Wenger Xplorer Hiking Boots (For Men)

Needed a starter boot for my daughter who wears a size 9.5. The Men's 8 fits her well. These don't seem like a boot for the advid hiker, but more for the recreational, time to time hiker. For the price, I feel it is a good boot to keep the feet dry and to give support to the ankle when hiking. May need additional arch support or cushion innnersole. Great for women who need a C width.

Overall a nice book for the money, they came in fast and fit true to size.

I actually returned these as they were not comfortable. The lack of comfort was in they were too large in an odd way. It almost felt like I was wearing tubes on my feet. Even with standard sport socks on, I could not tighten them down onto my foot. And I do not have small feet. I only intended on wearing them around the MN winters when the snowfall did not warrant full winter boots. I exchanged them for a great pair of Tevas that fit great and are very comfortable.
