I really appreciate these slippers. The only bootie I've found that leaves toes free and allows my full foot to move naturally in every way. The sole is completely flexible, though plenty thick to cushion and protect the foot, and it is completely flat - with no arch support, which is an invaluabl... Read More

I'd give these comfy (and love the European styling) slippers 5 stars if the bottoms were treated with a more outdoor-friendly 'coating', so you can make a quick run to the mailbox and such. Oh well... The cuff is nice as it covers the ankles, too.

These are super comfy and warm. I ordered a half size up and they are a bit big. The seam doesn't bother me at all, but I always wear socks with slippers. I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding slippers that don't fall off. Because these are booties, they stay on just fine. They make my feet look like Muppet feet, but I like Muppets.

I really wanted to love these slippers but the fit was way off. They looked like elf shoes on me! They are too long and have a weird seam on the inside that I found uncomfortable. The materials were great but the fit was just not right.

One caveat. It said on the order page that they run small, so order a half size bigger. I did so and found that they were too big, and had to send them back. Not good sizing advice.

this is my second pair of Wesenjak slipper boots. They wear well, they are warm and comfortable. All of these characteristics are important to me because I live in Alaska in a house that has cold floors.

    • Answer Hi Karen,

No problem with static electricity for my husband, me or our grandgirls that I am aware of. This is the second winter for us with the slippers and I have worn mine a lot on both hardwood at our cottage and carpet in our home. I continue to buy these slippers for our family.

      Happy New Year!

    • Answer They are not gummy. They have several layers, nay many layers of boiled wool. I thought that in the beginning they were a little slippery. You could slide on wood floors like you were sliding on ice. They are not slippery like you will fall at least to me they are not. They have aged and gotten less slippery. I love mine because they are very warm and made of natural materials.

    • Answer They are not gummy like I thought from the description, but the soles are more like a treated felt. My concern when I saw them was cat hair sticking to them, but it didn't and walking on the deck that has a dusting of snow would seep through, and it didn't.

Answered on 12/29/2010 12:00:00 AM by Nicinsnowcountry from Syracuse, NY
    • Answer the answer to this question regarding slipperyness might depend on the surface. I have carprt and my soles are not slippery, even on the kitchen/bathroom floors that are vinyl. My soles are not gummy
Answered on 1/2/2011 12:00:00 AM by traden from laurel, md
    • Answer I would say they are neither--Not slippery nor gummy--I've worn them now for two years
Answered on 1/6/2011 12:00:00 AM by Hikerman from Augusta, Mo.
    • Answer I would say the soles are slightly "tacky" to the touch, maybe to prevent slipping around on hard surfaces? I never felt they were overly "sticky" and in fact they got less so after wearing a few days anyway.
Answered on 1/6/2011 12:00:00 AM by The Nailer from California
    • Answer The soles are a heavy weight felt that are a tiny bit tacky. They can be slippery, it depends on the surface you are walking on. I have not had a problem, but my son fell down a set of steep stairs in his. He tends to not pay attention, so the slippers and he conspired to cause the problem, I have never had a problem on the same set of stairs. I can however see why some reviewers would call the soles slippery.
Answered on 1/10/2011 12:00:00 AM by singing plum from Holland, MI
    • Answer Defiinitly not slippery. I have worn them on all surfaces without difficulty. The bottom is felt with a slight glaze.
