Not as well constructed as other flies I have purchased from this site. I think they won't hold up very well.

Fished this in size 10-12 this past spring and summer almost exclusively as both this and the conehead variant were the best producing fly for the rivers and streams of the Missouri Ozarks. Worked like a charm on both stocked and wild trout in Missouri. Construction was good, the flies held up well against fish and snags. Excellent flies for the money. When other flies are not producing free float, swing, or cast and strip this fly to get great results.

Nicely made fly that will work in a wide variety of fishing situations. Will mimic a damsel nymph, crayfish, leech or worm. The leggs are thin and give plenty of action while also being a little fragile and suseptible to heat. Good fly to use to catch large trout or smallies. Get a dozen and have some fun.
