    I have used these on a fly line for years, but for my young children I put one on a spinning reel and they can pull in bluegill over and over. Great fun for a 5 year old! And easier than worms. Bass will strike at them as well.

    These are well made flies. I fish small to medium spring creeks and these imitate the scuds well. They have a good amount of body to them, and hold up well. Like most scud patterns, they have the bead head built into the fly (as the picture shows).
