Nice that these shorts are longer, just above the knees (hubby is 5'10",165 lbs., sz 32 waist). What is great about these shorts is that there are adequate pockets but not that heavy cargo pocket look. They actually look more dressy, in style, but still useful for walks and everyday wear. Look nice on the husband. Got them on sale at a great value.

Reviewed by Raffut from Chicago on Friday, March 30, 2012These seem to be good shorts that have many functional pockets that secure with either velcro or a zipper. The pockets don't bulge out like some cargo pants, but they do have plenty of room to stash your stuff. The fit is true to size. I'm 6', 165lbs and got the size 34. This is consistent with other shorts in my closet, but I usually wear a 32 or 33 in jeans. If you're using them to backpack or hike I'd get your true size and not bigger.
