The hood liner was a huge mesh bag and scratchy on the back of my neck. Couldn't wait to get it off. It you are one of those who can wear wool, probably not an issue. (Unless you want to wear the wool beneath this coat, then you'd better have stick figure arms.) The blue fabric looked nice. I wear a size 8/medium. The med fit, the small was too small.

I ordered a Medium, thinking it would be roomy enough for a mid-weight sweater, and it wasn't. I like roomy, but not huge, and maybe a large would have worked, but the length, for me, was just a bit too long.

Everyone had umbrellas except me and I was, hands down, the driest! Love the Brim on the hood! I recommended it to my walking partner; great for the Oregon Coast rainy weather.
