It's far more stylish than those, so I could look forward to wearing it to work. However, Large is bigger than I expected, all over: shoulder seams, width, etc. I'm normally a generous 12 (on my way to size 14), but this jacket is really for a bigger gal than me. Other than that, it seemed like a great jacket at a great price. I've had sportswear from White Sierra before and it served me well. Had to return this one. Sigh.

I bought 2 of these, in different colors - or so I thought. The 'vintage indigo' is true to color shown on webpage; the 'blue indigo' is not. Instead of being a lighter/brighter color, despite being labeled as a different color 'name', it is exactly the same color as the 'vintage indigo.' I like the jacket: nice weight and fit (true to size; ample sleeve length, which is not always true on jackets); very cozy. But I really did not need nor want (nor would I have paid for) two identical jackets. Guess I need to find someone to whom I can 'gift' the second jacket, since it's not worth the restock & shipping costs to send back or ask for exchange. Very disappointing outcome; a waste of half my money. -

I had told her how I loved fleece because it's really light, and warm for its weight, and can also be slung around or stuffed in a bag and come out smiling. This one looked like a good bet to me: unlike most fleece, it has a bit of style (the thick pile at collar, cuffs and hem). It was more than I really wanted to spend on a fleece jacket, but my mom loves it, so it was worth it.

It runs true to size. I read the other review and was worried that it might be too small. I am size 8 and got a Medium, it has plenty of room. Nice side pockets, good length. Highly recommend.
