    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    This is a much lighter material than I expected - almost a matte parachute fabric. Should be great in hot weather. Looks good on, but the legs do not taper at all, and remain the same wide width all the way down. As a result, it fits more like capri pajama pants. Feels slightly odd around the waist/hips, but with the roomy fit, it's still comfy and not an issue. For the great price, I'm keeping it for knocking around.

    It has not warmed up enough to wear these pants outside but I was very pleased with the fit and soft feel of the fabric. They are light weight and I believe would dry very fast. I think they will make great hiking pants and should be very nice for fishing too.

    I have these pants in three different lengths. They're really comfortable and very lightweight. Just good everyday knock around pants that I find myself putting on all the time. They're also good for travel as they dry very quickly.
