Question “So the sizing in the chart says that an XL is a size 18, but the size above near the product says XL is a size 16. Which is correct?”

Answer The White Sierra size chart under sizing tab I see is showing the XL as 16 which is matching the sizes above. We may have had a general chart posted when you viewed this. The XL is a size 16.

Answer The White Sierra Paradise Cove Wind Jacket does not have pit-zips. The jacket will be able to repel a very light rain, but not much more then that. Thanks for asking.

Question “The product description says the jacket is "water repellant". Has anyone used this in the rain, and if so, what were the circumstances (were you hiking with a pack on, were you standing at a bus stop, etc)?||Would you rely on this jacket as a rain jacket?||Thanks!”

Answer Unfortunately its not the best option for a rain jacket. "Water repellent" means that the jacket will shed a light rain, but is not waterproof.
