Child stayed warm and dry. I like the fleece bib top. It makes the pants comfortable and you don't have to worry about snow down the back.

I took a risk with the 6 instead of the 7 because I wanted the green ones. They fit beautifully with some room to grow. The legs have a hidden hem that can be let out to add length, and if you have very basic sewing skills, there is extra fabric at the top seams at the shoulders that could easily be let out to add an extra inch or more to the top and gain an extra year of use. We have not tried them out in the snow yet, but these snowpants look and feel very durable. They are great quality and cost me less than lower quality pants would have.

I paid a little more, and thought I was getting first class. Ripstop below the knee would have been nice.I was also hoping for thicker insulation. From the picture, I thought the elastic was on the bottom hem- now I find out it's up high on the inside (like the discount store), which means it can drag easier and they won't be able to grow with it as much. I guess I can sew the hem to the top of the elastic.
