bought small for two youth, but found it fitted my adult son who I thought would be a medium. Really well insulated and a comfy no frills pants. Going to buy two more

Pants are still to long with a 30" inseam and pretty bulky, but for the price I paid I could afford to have them altered. I like the slate gray color and the style. Good value.

My son is 6'2 220pds. He has massive thighs from weightlifting. With that in mind, the pants fit him really well. He thought they were warm enough for skiing.

Worked great. Waist was a little big, even worn over jeans. Spent a lot of time sitting on the snow and stayed dry and warm. A little puffy through the legs compared to my friend's expensive pants, but not overly so. Certainly better than the rental pants.

I basicly got these to stay warm when we take the kids outside; sleding, ice skating or just for outside fun. They are super warm! I am able to move around in them easily, which is a plus for me, as I have a bad knee.
Answer
They do not have side zips. Item #14771 has full length side zips.

Question
“Hi, I do actually have 2 questions. First, my husband normally wears size 36/34, is L suitable for him?|Second, he wants warm pants, he has to stay outside for 2-3 hours per day, it is about -5... -10 F (-20... -25 C). Will these pants be ok with some basic layer?”
