This is a great rainjacket to pack away for spring and fall downpours. As you get into warm weather, though, the lack of breathability is going to make you really sweat. It's not insulated or anything, so for cold conditions take a pass. But if you need a cool weather, lightweight jacket that will keep out the harshest of downpours packed away with little weight this is it.

This is lightweight but has not been tested as waterproof and windproof as advertised. Couldn't find a woman's jacket like it so bought the men's which fits well and has room for layering in colder weather.

Bought for my son who is going to London for a semester. Wanted a packable, waterproof, hooded jacket good for layering. I liked the styling right out of the box. It is thin, but he could wear a fleece underneath or wear under an overcoat when the weather gets colder. It folds up easily to a small square, perfect for packing in a suitcase or day backpack. For the price I think its well worth a try.

If the body of the jacket were longer, it would get a 5 star rating. It barely covers the waistline.
would like it to cover hips. Very lightweight. Haven't had it long but seems very well made.

I bought the XL to wear over anything from dress shirt & tie to a micro-fleecs hoody. This rain jacket is perfect! It goes to the office and always looks sharp, it goes walking, hiking, camping and keeps me dry in light to heavy rain, sleet or snow. It folds very flat and is always packed in the easiest-to-reach pocket on the outside of the backpack.

Holds up well in light to medium rain showers, have yet to "test" it in a severe storm, but based on my experience thus far I expect this jacket to be my new favorite for lighter-weight rain wear.
