This jacket was sized appropriately and seems to be very good quality. If you buy it to layer, order 1 size up. Perfect for windbreaker where venting is not a top priority.

We have two of these already that have served my kids well. I thought I would buy the next size up while I was ordering some other things. I have returned this one though because "lipstick" is actually pink, not red.

I am a petite woman(5'2"/108 lbs.) and I bought this jacket for myself in a size 14/16. The blue is a beautiful shade of royal. The jacket was put to use at Universal Studios over Spring Break, and worked perfectly. I was completely dry as the rain poured.

I suppose I could always ask for more pockets, but for the price of this rain jacket I'm very happy. There are great pockets with a generous inner pockets, and the rainproofing is excellent. Did the water-soaking rides at a themepark and came out dry and happy--at least the parts under the jacket were dry! Seam taping is good. Velcro at sleeves allows for them to be tightened to keep water out. Also, the sleeves were slightly long, which is preferred to short. But, after wearing them I saw why this is a great design feature. When the sleeves are longer you can stretch your arms out to reach, etc., and the jacket still maintains great coverage of your wrists/arms. Very happy with the long arms! Easy to carry around with you when needed. We will wear these this summer sailing and I believe they will be ideal. I even bought a kid's XL for myself, as it fit well and I was happy with the purchase!
