I needed some convertible pants for a 5 day backcountry backpacking trip in Colorado so I didn't have to take shorts and pants. I bought these based on other reviews and the look of them. The fit is good, slimmer than most other convertible pants and the material while not stretchy like my other outdoor pants, it still gives a little. Where they failed is on the morning of he second day of my backpacking trip I went to put them on and button the waste and guess what? No button! This is a big fail in my book, but on the plus side they come with a integrated belt so I was able to keep the pants up... Now I will have to track down the correct size button and repair a NEW pair of pants. Just beware....

I ordered two pair of these pants in November 2015 and wore them in Puerto Vallarta. I loved them so much I again ordered two more pair in July 2016. They are comfortable, easy to clean and cool in the San Diego heat. Order them and you too will have some great travel pants.

They fit well, the belt is a nice touch and there is no binding or restriction of movement.

I got these pants for a boat trip and they worked great. Very versatile, quick drying and easy to zip apart/together. I found the size ran a bit big.

Super comfortable, true to size. The elastic in the waist makes them very comfortable to wear. The belt works fine, but I switched it out for another belt. I love that the leg zippers are marked so they are easy to zip back on the correct leg.

    • Answer i dont believe it's water repellant, but it is fast drying. normal soap with no bleach component should be fine. good luck.

    • Answer There is nothing on the attached washing instructions label about that. Just "Machine wash cold with like colors." I don't find anything in the written tags and such that came with it either.

    • Answer I never thought about that. I just looked at the cleaning directions on the label and it said, no bleach, machine wash cold.

    • Answer The short answer is that I do not know for sure. The label says cold water with like colored clothing. There is no specific detergent recommendation. That said, I clean all my nylon clothing in cold water in "Woolite" with the machine set on gentle cycle and then air dry (no dryer). If the water repellency fails there is a product called "Revivex" which will restore water repellency. I've used this process on water repellant nylon fishing hats with success. Otherwise I have not been too concerned with water repellency with shirts or pants because the material dries so quickly. For me, moisture wicking is the most important factor. Good luck.

    • Answer They do not have inseam zips at least the pair I received didn't. I hope this helps you.

    • Answer Hi...Yes the lower section is removable and able to be taken over your boots.
This is because the bottom section has a zip that opens wide allowing easy removal.

    • Answer Yes they do! It was a bit snug for my 11.5 size boots, but did come off.

    • Answer I wasn't sure what you were asking about and since I haven't worn them yet I went and checked and the answer is yes there is a zipper on the side so you can remove that section without taking your boots off. Bought this for an African safari that we are taking in October. Glad I looked and glad that I could give you a thumbs up response.

    • Answer At the bottom of the cuff they have a velcro tab that tightens around your ankle. There is also an approximately 6 to 8 inch zipper that zips up the leg to allow more room.

    • Answer Yes they do. The zippers are about 8" long and also have a velcro closure at the bottom to cinch up if desired.

    • Answer There are partial ~ 8" zips on the outside seam. Sufficient for removing boots or a bit of ventilation. Secured at the bottom with a velcro tab.

  • Question “are these slim fit or looser fit”

Asked on 4/16/2014 4:09:00 PM by carson from Oklahoma
    • Answer More towards the slim side. I actually have them on right now and I can pull the material maybe an inch away from my thighs. I'm a 31.5" waist and the medium fit me perfectly. The material is lightweight, so they don't bind at all.
